Interprefy and Congress Rental Network partner up to reduce hybrid conference language barriers

Remote simultaneous interpretation provider, Interprefy, has announced its partnership with Congress Rental Network (CRN), the conferencing network group, to remove language barriers for international conferences.

Founded in 1990, CRN is a worldwide network of conferencing technology specialists, consisting of 45 independent member organisations, covering 5 continents and 43 countries – from Colombia to Australia. Together, the group provides technical solutions in regards to conference, congress and audiovisual requirements for in-person, virtual and hybrid international meetings and events, including EU Presidencies, governmental meetings, and various international conferences.

Interprefy and CRN have been maintaining a strong partnership for over 2 years, collaborating closely to combine technical expertise on site with cloud-based technology that helps simplify the delivery of simultaneous interpretation, ultimately making it more scalable, eco-friendly and cost-efficient.

CRN members regularly leverage Interprefy technology to provide remote simultaneous interpretation services to their clients to break down language barriers and enable people to connect in their own language.

Making it also possible to combine on-site interpretation set up with Interprefy, CRN members can offer their clients greater flexibility and options, such as hybrid setups, with both interpreters working from booths at the venue, as well as some interpreters being connected remotely.

“The partnership between Interprefy and CRN is the perfect example of two organisations coming together to achieve one big goal – to increase access to professional interpretation solutions for events of all shapes and sizes,” said Oddmund Braaten, Chief Executive Officer at Interprefy. “Working closely with CRN has helped us tremendously in continuously improving our platform through their inputs and offering our clients support on the ground from trusted partners that know our platform inside out.”

Michel Calvelage, Chairman of CRN added: “Our collaboration has opened up additional opportunities in this new era in our business. It offers our customers in various market segments, a reliable, high-quality and flexible solution for simultaneous interpretation during international conferences and hybrid meetings. Our alliance will provide us with the opportunity to continue to lead the market with a diversified and technically advanced solution offering on a global scale.”
