Setting standards across virtual events

Launched in March 2021, VSef – a universal data format for hybrid and virtual events launched in March 2021, was developed collaboratively by a cross-industry working group with the aim of helping the virtual event organisers and platforms create a single view of all the available data on their event experience.

VSef helps data move more freely between platforms, business intelligence tools, CRM and marketing systems. It sets out detailed standards for a range of event metrics and KPIs and how those data points should be formatted for easy transfer between systems.

In this session, leading CTOs from the leading exhibition organisers and Vsef founding platform members share case studies from the very first events who have already adopted the standards and discuss their initial findings on attendee behaviour – and of course what it means for virtual events in the future.
