EVENT TECH LIVE Background
Markus AI joins Event Tech Live as an official partner in three-year agreement

Agent-based platform is the latest addition to the connected event technology stack Event Tech Live is building around the show, bringing richer pre-event intent, AI note-taking inside the lead capture app, and personalised post-event intelligence across 2026, 2027 and 2028

Event Tech Live, the world’s only dedicated event technology trade show, has named Markus AI as an official partner in a three-year agreement covering its 2026, 2027 and 2028 London editions. The partnership brings agent-based artificial intelligence into the heart of the show, with a focus on the things that move results for organisers and exhibitors: understanding what people want before they arrive, capturing what happens in conversations on the floor, and showing everyone what they got out of the event.

Markus AI is an AI-native, agent-based orchestration platform for events. Rather than a single tool, it works as a crew of AI agents that support the attendee, exhibitor and sponsor journey across the event lifecycle. It is designed to be neutral and interoperable, plugging into the technology organisers already use rather than replacing it.

The agreement is part of a wider AI ecosystem Event Tech Live is building in and around the show. Rather than buying a single off-the-shelf product, the organiser is assembling its own connected event technology stack through long-term partnerships, with each partner doing what it does best. Markus AI joins platforms such as Erleah, the show’s AI concierge, matchmaking and hosted buyer platform, and Eventpack, its registration and lead capture provider. Erleah remains the engine that connects attendees, exhibitors and hosted buyers, with Markus AI adding pre-event intent capture, note-taking and post-event intelligence. The platforms are built to complement one another rather than overlap.

Across the three-year partnership, Markus AI will work with Event Tech Live and its technology partners to deliver three core capabilities:

  • Pre-event interviews. In the days before the show, Markus AI’s agents carry out short one-to-one interviews with attendees and exhibitors to capture what each of them actually wants to achieve. That intent data flows into Erleah to help it connect the right people, rather than relying on registration information alone.
  • AI note-taking inside lead capture. Markus AI’s note-taker will be built into Eventpack’s lead capture app, turning stand conversations into structured, prioritised follow-ups with the consent of those involved, so exhibitors leave with more than a scanned badge.
  • Post-event intelligence. Every attendee and sponsor receives a personalised report setting out the goals they shared, how the event delivered against them, and their journey through the show. The Event Tech Live team receives aggregate insight to shape future content and programming.

The first year will be deliberately content-led. Markus AI will join show-floor conversations on the challenges organisers and exhibitors face around return on investment and exhibitor rebooking, alongside buyers and other partners, rather than focusing on its own product. The aim is to build a clear, practical playbook for AI in events that develops across the three years.

Adam Parry, Founder and Director of AMP Events, which produces Event Tech Live, said:

“AI is moving faster than anything I have seen in this industry, and most of the noise is still about chatbots and copy. We are not buying one AI tool and bolting it on, we are building our own connected stack around the show, with partners who each do one thing brilliantly. Markus AI fits that exactly: knowing what people want before they walk in, capturing what really happens in conversations on the floor, and giving everyone a clear picture of what they got out of the show. Committing to three years means we can learn properly, build the playbook together, and give our exhibitors something that gets better every year.”

Max Gabriel, Founder of Markus AI, said:

“Event Tech Live is the one show where the whole industry comes to see what is next, so it is the right place to show what agent-based AI can do for events. We are not here to replace the tools organisers already trust. Our agents plug into them, orchestrate the workflow and unlock valuable intelligence, and give attendees, exhibitors and organisers a more connected experience. We believe in what Adam and his team are doing for the event ecosystem and we are excited to partner with them across three years to make things simpler and better for the industry.”

Markus AI will exhibit at Event Tech Live across all three editions, beginning with Event Tech Live London 2026 on 11 and 12 November at Excel London.
