The engagement platform behind some of the world’s biggest live experiences signs on for a second consecutive year – embedding deeper into the show, on the floor, inside the event app and across this year’s exhibitor stands.

Event Tech Live (ETL), the world’s leading gathering for the event technology community, has confirmed that Komo will return as Official Engagement Partner of Event Tech Live London 2026, taking place at Excel London on 11–12 November 2026. The renewal marks a second consecutive year of partnership between the two organisations.

Building on a successful debut at ETL London 2025, Komo will return as the show’s engagement and participation layer, helping transform attendee interactions into deeper audience understanding, measurable commercial outcomes and stronger relationships between organisers, exhibitors, sponsors and attendees.

Extending event value beyond the show floor

As Official Engagement Partner, Komo’s role is a defined one for the event: turn the people at the show from an audience into participants. Rather than sitting apart, Komo is designed to integrate with the registration, event-app and event-management technologies, adding a participation layer that gives attendees a reason to engage more deeply before, during and after the event.

For 2026, Komo will again power interactive experiences throughout, giving attendees a reason to discover and explore exhibitors, consume content, participate in challenges and connect with sponsors and exhibitors in ways that add value to their event experience. Every interaction captures identity, behaviour and preferences as zero-party data, helping build a richer understanding of attendee interests and giving exhibitors and sponsors something a stand alone cannot: a record of who actually engaged with them, not an estimate of who walked past.

Komo will exhibit on stand B12, an open, three-sided space across from the central bar at the heart of the show, where the team will show how event organisers, brands and rights holders can run the same experiences at their own events – built in-house, without developer resource, with the audience data flowing straight into the systems they already use.

“We brought Komo in last year to do one thing exceptionally well – make our show floor more engaging – and they delivered. Bringing them back for a second year was an easy decision,” said Adam Parry, Founder of Event Tech Live.

“Event Tech Live works with a carefully chosen set of partners, and each brings something different. Komo’s is engagement: turning attendees into active participants and giving them a reason to explore everything the show has to offer. That’s exactly what they own, and they own it brilliantly.”

“Returning to Event Tech Live for a second year means a great deal to us. ETL is where the industry comes to see what’s next, so there’s no better stage to show how the audience at an event can become people an organiser actually knows – and an asset that grows in value – rather than a foot traffic count that disperses when the doors close,” said Joel Steel, CEO and Founder of Komo.

“Most organisers already have registration platforms, an event app and marketing systems. What they’re missing is the layer that turns all that once anonymous attendee activity into something they can actually understand, act on and commercialise – and that’s where Komo fits. We do it across the floor and inside the app, before, during and after the event, so those involved come away with an audience that holds its value long after the event comes and goes.””

About Komo

Komo turns audience participation into identifiable data and measurable commercial outcomes. From always-on, interactive experiences – challenges, quizzes, competitions and more – through to rewards and loyalty programmes, Komo exists to make passive audiences active, building a connected, compounding picture of each person who takes part, owned by the organisation and fed into the tools they already use, rather than replacing them. Not a campaign or a one-off activation, but a connected participation system that grows more valuable the longer it runs – turning an audience an organisation can reach but can’t yet use into one it knows, owns and can commercialise, before, during and after the moments that bring it together. That system – the same one that runs behind some of the biggest live experiences in the world – is the Komo Engagement Engine.
