EaseMyExpo aims to become a one-stop solution for stand designs, installations and dismantling needs globally.
Anyone who’s pitched a stand knows the pattern. The brief changes, the designer reworks it, the render comes back, and the brief changes again. Every loop costs days, and the deadline doesn’t move.
For agencies it’s worse. The client is often asked to approve a full build off one image from one angle, and the concept work behind it is frequently given away for free to win the job.
That’s the gap Bengaluru-based EaseMyExpo is going after with Boothlane.
What is Boothlane?
Boothlane is browser-based exhibition stand design software from EaseMyExpo. It covers the whole pre-build process in one platform: live 3D customisation, client presentations, cinematic video, AR previews, high-quality renders, and model import and export. The company says a full stall can go from blank space to finished render in under 15 minutes.
“It helps you design production-ready stalls in minutes,” says Vikramaditya Shukla, Founder and CEO of EaseMyExpo.
How does it work?
Users start from a catalogue of more than 160 items, including premade fascia for stands open on one to four sides, furniture, reception counters, and branding elements. For a bespoke brief, custom fascia can be drawn in 2D or 3D.
Branding, backlit and fabric panels, hanging signs, video screens, lighting, and LED decor can all be adjusted live in the same session. That’s the bit that matters in a client meeting. Three branding options become three clicks, not three rounds of rework spread across a week.
Agencies with an existing model library don’t lose it either. Boothlane imports OBJ and FBX files, so furniture and fixtures already built for past projects can drop straight in.
There’s nothing to install. EaseMyExpo says it runs on a mid-range laptop rather than a design workstation, with a shadows-off setting if things start to lag.
What changes when you pitch with it?
This is where Boothlane is most interesting. Instead of sending a single static render, an agency can walk the client around the stand from every angle, hand over a cinematic video, and open an AR preview on the client’s own phone.
The AI does its work at the end of that process. Once the design is set, Boothlane uses AI to generate high-quality renders the team can review, share, and sign off before anything goes to fabrication.
The result is a client approving something close to the real stand rather than an abstraction, and doing it before a single fabrication quote goes out.
How much does it cost, and what does it save?
Boothlane is priced at $2 per render and is available through EaseMyExpo.
EaseMyExpo claims it saves 8 to 10 hours of manual work per project and cuts design costs by up to 95%. That comparison is against the usual fees from a stand builder, freelance designer, or agency. It also factors in something the industry rarely talks about: the cost agencies absorb producing initial designs and free concepts to win a pitch. The figures are the company’s own and haven’t been independently tested.
Does it replace stand builders?
No, and EaseMyExpo doesn’t claim it does. Boothlane is design and visualisation software, not a substitute for engineering or fabrication expertise. Its target is the slow back-and-forth before a client says yes.
Finished designs export as FBX or OBJ into 3ds Max, Blender, Maya, or SketchUp, so a concept built in Boothlane moves straight into whatever software the builder already uses. Nobody has to redraw it from scratch.
Who’s using it so far?
According to EaseMyExpo, an earlier version of the product picked up more than 450 users in its first two months. The new version has 62 people on its waitlist, which the company says came without any marketing.
Agencies pitching stand concepts look like the clearest fit, along with exhibitors who want to test ideas before briefing a builder.
Is AI overhyped in exhibitions?
Shukla doesn’t think so. He expects AI to have a major impact on the industry, but says the real question is how well it’s introduced into everyday workflows and practical use cases.
“AI adoption in expos and trade shows can help all parties achieve better ROI than we have seen so far,” he says.
Stand design is a good place to test that. It’s one of the most manual parts of exhibiting, and it’s where a lot of budget quietly disappears. The measure for any software like this is simple: does what comes out of the browser match what a builder can actually deliver on the show floor?
What’s next for Boothlane?
EaseMyExpo says more features are coming in future versions. Its longer-term aim is better return on investment for exhibitors, visitors, and organisers.
