We want every visitor to take part fully and comfortably. This page covers what is in place at the show, how to get here, and how to ask us for anything you need.
Tell us what you need and we will help
Accessibility needs are personal, and no single page can cover everyone. The most useful thing we can offer is a direct line.
If there is an adjustment that would make your visit easier, get in touch and we will do what we can to arrange it. We would rather be open about what we currently provide than over-promise, so where something is not yet in place, we have said so.
Email access@eventtechlive.com. Reaching us a couple of weeks ahead gives us the best chance to arrange things properly, but do get in touch whenever you can.
Come to the show office and ask for the team. We can sort reserved seating, point you to facilities, or help with anything that comes up on the day.
What is in place on site
As an event technology show, we use the tools our own industry builds to make sessions easier to follow and the floor easier to navigate.
Live captioning on every stage
All of our content stages carry live closed captioning through Interprefy, so you can read along with sessions in real time.
Multilingual live translation
Interprefy also provides live translation across every stage, for visitors who prefer to follow sessions in another language.
Silent Seminars headphones
Stage audio runs through Silent Seminars headphones, which cut background noise from the floor and let you set your own volume.
Reserved wheelchair seating
We hold accessible seating in our stage theatres. Let us know in advance and we will have it ready, or speak to the team on the day.
The Sunflower lanyard is recognised here
Event Tech Live recognises the Hidden Disabilities Sunflower scheme. The lanyard is a quiet way to signal that you may need a little more time, space or help, without having to explain why. Our registration and floor teams are briefed to recognise it.
If you already have a Sunflower lanyard, please bring it. If you would like one, a small number are available at the registration desk.

Excel London is a step-free, single-level venue with strong accessibility provision of its own.
Getting here
The venue offers free wheelchair and mobility scooter hire, accessible toilets and a Changing Places facility, hearing loops, Blue Badge parking and a multi-faith prayer room. Full detail is on the venue’s own pages, with an independent surveyed guide as well.

- Step-free travel: Custom House (Elizabeth line and DLR) and Prince Regent (DLR) are both step-free. DLR assistance can be pre-booked through Transport for London.
Where to stay
Several hotels in the Royal Docks cluster around Excel London offer accessible rooms within walking distance or a short step-free journey of the venue.
Room features vary, so we would always suggest confirming the specifics you need, such as a roll-in shower, bed height or a hoist, directly with the hotel before booking.

Event Tech Live is free to attend, so if you are bringing a personal assistant or carer they are welcome to register and attend free of charge, the same as any other visitor. Guide dogs and assistance dogs are welcome throughout the venue.
